I recently switched jobs (moved back to TX) and the dress code allows for jeans daily. I'm used to dressing up for work.

What's your work dress code?

I always wear jeans and a polo. Seeing more and more people wearing tees and caps lately, though

Some form of athletic shorts and a t-shirt.

Of course! Everything is a red tinted wonderland.

Boots or dress shoes, jeans or slacks, and collared shirts for the men; nice biz casual jeans or slacks and blouses for the women. The lawyers all keep full suits in their offices in the event of court.

In the office, whatever is comfortable. Shorts and flops in the summer.
Unless I know a client is coming in and I want to look decent.

Ours has gotten fairly lax and I like it. Jeans are fine. Hoodies are not uncommon (at least decent-looking ones). Tennis shoes are common. I'm more of a lulu ABC pant guy since they are more comfortable than jeans. So abc pants with sneakers and any one of a polo, qzip, or hoodie is my usual combo

Very casual since covidhoax. No official policy. Still in the office 4X a week. Jeans a couple days. Khakis a couple days. Never a tie anymore. Polo or short sleeve button down until it gets cold enough for long sleeve.

Wearing a sweater with shorts today.
Work remotely for the most part.

If I were in my office, it'd be either running shoes or AF1s with either dark jeans or chinos with a polo/sweater/buttondown. Vuori joggers on a Friday.

Cant go wrong with polo shirt or button down, nice jeans, and dress shoes or loafers. Might be better to dress up in slacks the first week, see how others are dressed around you, then dress accordingly.

Our work dress code is basically wear something that you could leave the office and go play golf in. No shorts though, of course.

I work in construction but do quite a bit remote work. Typically shirt with a collar and jeans/boots if I'm going to be on jobsites or golf pants/casual dress shoes if I'm in the office. I don't think we have an actual dress code, but there are unwritten rules. Shorts and hats are frowned upon in the office, so in the event I'm out doing my job in something they don't like I just avoid the office.

Usually I come into the office wearing a William Westmancott Ultimate Bespoke Suit. Once I am in my office, once the door is closed and locked, legal has agreed to let me wear only my American flag speedo so that I feel comfortable enough to get my work done.

I wear jeans, a polo, and boots or Skechers just about every day. Sometimes a tee-shirt on Fridays.

I work from home so whatever I really feel like. Most internal calls we skip the video part so wardrobe doesn't matter. If a client is on the call, I usually try to have something with a collar since we use video, often the clients are wearing hoodies or sweaters this time of year in the PNW.

Some regular clients ask about seeing the Zuko dog, but he always wears a collar and a fur coat.

Agreed. Never understood the "privilege" of getting to wear jeans when my dress pants are way more comfortable. Stretchy golf pants that look like dress slacks are the best for the office.

I wfh now though so it's a tshirt and shorts virtually every day.

As an aside, I will never understand the psychos who wear jeans around the house even if they don't have plans. How are these people comfortable on the couch with jeans on?

polo shirts are accepted as business casual. Pretty much I just wear a polo and slacks every day. when its cold I go long sleeve dress shirt.
