My daughter went to high school with one of the two creators of American Vandal. He and his best friend (now a Hollywood composer who wrote some of the music for CODA) used to put together hilarious videos which were presented over the school video system every Wednesday morning. A lot of parodies of commercials and current events. American Vandal included a LOT of references to the high school, including giving the A/V teacher the same name as his A/V teacher in high school. The guy has been producing the same type of humor since he was fourteen.
