I just checked the tracking and the box I mailed 2 days ago to my Secret Santa apparently got to Tokyo and was rejected by the shipping company even though nothing violated any of the restrictions they listed. If I am able to somehow get it back from them before we leave for the airport tomorrow I'll bring it with me. Otherwise I won't be back to send it again until February.

FYI, I've DMed them to let them know that it won't make it to them till February. Tried to see if we could get it on the way to the airport today, but it was already in transit and they couldn't stop it anywhere.
Edit: A Christmas miracle just happened!! The local center called us like 10 minutes after we called the help line and said the package was returned to them and available for pickup even though the help line estimated it wouldn't be there till tomorrow. Gonna be able to put them in our luggage now!

Even though she posted anonymously, I knew who it was based the context clues. It is all good. Logistics are the suck during the holidays especially internationally.

IDK if I've mentioned it before, but his sister actually lives in Mexico and met her husband there. When they come to Japan to visit it's an interesting mix of languages.
