That's a very low bar
The last thing I want to do is hurt you. But, it's still on the list.

Alaska is great, never had an issue with them. Most of my flights this year have been on AA since I can get a cheap direct flight from EUG to DFW, I had to fly United this past weekend EUG-SFO-DFW and back the same way and it sucked.

Alaska is always good, go first class if you can, even better.

What everyone has already said. Don't have any reservations. Its a great airline a d flew them all the time when I lived in the PNW. Better than AA.

All I know about Alaska airlines is the flight 261 tragedy

I lived in Corpus Christi back in the 90's, and one time a Continental flight from Houston landed at the wrong place in Corpus (as a side note you could only fly to either Dallas or Houston from Corpus back then, I'm guessing that's still the same, despite it being an "international" airport).

The plane somehow missed CCIA completely, and landed at Cabaniss Field, an old Navy auxiliary landing strip on the south side of town. It's a run-down runway used only occasionally for Navy touch and go practices, and way too short for commercial air traffic. But apparently the Continental pilot thought that was CCIA and landed the too-big-for-that-runway plane there anyway.

The passengers had to wait for hours to disembark while they brought steps from CCIA to Cabaniss, and then had to bus back to CCIA to get their bags and be released.

Alaskan Airlines would never do such a thing.

That's funny.

But Continental had a great run from the mid/late 90s until United got involved. The Bethune CEO era I guess was it's peak. Reputation probably similar to how people think of Alaska now.

I remember that!

Is that plane still there or was there enough runway for it to take off?

Holy cow, I lived in CC then, too. The plane sat there for quite some time until they were able to fly it out.
