We ended up having to pull the plug - my boy was not feeling good. Bummer, but we got to do a lot of space center during the day, just bailed before the overnight stuff

There will probably be some other opportunities.

When he gets older and you get some actual camp outs it gets better.

There are troops that go pretty hard core and no-frills and they don't pull a scout trailer with lots of cooking stuff and canopies and tarps and all sorts of stuff.

Each person packs a backpack with their food and sleeping gear/tent included and they toss those in the back of the trucks and go.

Kinda wish our troop had been like that sometimes.
