I find a good sex life depends on trust, honesty, and open and genuine conversation. If you'll don't talk about sex it'll never get better. And if you talk about sex without being honest and truthful it'll just make things worse.

Also, I'd suggest having your wife look into hormone replacement therapy which have benefits beyond sex drive.
