I don't get the love for A1. Anyone that uses that on a steak needs a lesson in seasoning. As far as burgers go, I'm with slicer. Green Chile was the only reason to go to Whataburger. At least there's Blake's in New Mexico.

When they had the A1 Thick and Hearty burger I was just disappointed because the beef wasn't any thicker than their normal patty. It took me a while to realize the sauce was the A1 Thick and Hearty sauce.

Do they even make that sauce anymore?

Yes.

I googled and it is still available

I like to use the regular A 1 when roasting potatoes. I like the tang of the sauce

It's odd as I get older, how much cream cheese is delicious w weird combinations.

Had a street hot dog w sauteed onions and cream cheese and it was excellent.

Still not a good choice for a patty melt. Toasted rye is why Freddy's is superior to WB. Well, that and their beef actually tastes like beef.
