Someone dumped 3 puppies and one got hit on our back roads. I have a soft spot for animals. Took it to a local rescue with the 2 others with it. Poor guy will probably lose his leg.

Benny and I have Royals tickets tonight in KC. Michael Wacha is starting, and I am pumped. He's having a very nice season for the boys in blue.

After the game, we're grabbing dinner at a Whataburger. Among his group of friends, Benny, who moved to MO three weeks shy of his 5th BDay, is known as the kid from Texas. If he's going to be a Texan, he needs to have gone to a Whataburger. And I'm looking for an excuse to go back to Springfield, MO, as I recently learned there's a Buc-ee's there.

- Friend in town all day yesterday and stayed the night.
- Back was HURTING yesterday. Maybe bc I sat on a backless stool for two hours for lunch? Maybe bc I tried on a box of old clothes? Who knows - no position allowed me any sleep until I dunked out at 6:30 AM.
- Back feeling better for now. Enough to exercise, anyway.
- Sister + husband left for the day/night so I'm on my own until tomorrow.
- Will probably…do nothing.

That should be 5 years prison, minimum.
