The entire reason the movie was made and the reason it's so popular is because pretty much everyone feels this way at some point or another about their job. That's the entire point.

boss' boss retires on a Friday and they end up letting my boss go that Wednesday before.

we get 6 weeks with the new boss' boss and he put in his 2 weeks notice....parting note "we may have someone in mind to be your boss if he can".
