I'd opt for a phone call (Zoom?) if I had to talk to someone in federal prison. But different Leavenworth none the less, this one is a town in Washington State that is worth a visit during the Winter Holidays.

I was in Las Vegas, NM in February and had outstanding Mexican food at a place called El Rialto. How can you go wrong in the state of the green chile? I've never had bad Mexican in NM.

I am going to brag some more. My wife works and I don't. Therefore, I am a Trophy Husband! I do all the shopping, cleaning, cooking, yard work to include washing our vehicles to alleviate burdens from her. I even wrote a cookbook! I also work out to stay semi-sexy for her! lol

Being a Trophy Husband is far different than riding in army helicopters and tanks. lol

Y'all are eating at the wrong places in NM.

I had good mexican food in Santa Fe at La Choza and at La Fonda on the Plaza. Both good mexican food.

I'm from San Antonio.

I will say that I visited southern NM (Carlsbad) and it was not good.

We got complimentary vouchers because they booked our room and then gave keys to another guest who almost walked in on us having sex later that afternoon.

We had like 2-3 meals there and I don't remember it being bad, but maybe if you pay for it and didn't get to have sex first it's worse. I dunno.
