A friend of mine from back home has a 4 year old that appears to be nearing the end of his battle with brain cancer.
He was initially diagnosed at the age of 2 and has been fighting off an on ever since. His last battle included 30 radiation treatments.
According to his mother's blog, the scans at the end of the last treatment earlier this week show the radiation was unsuccessful in beating back the cancer this time. They are going to take him home as soon as able and let him be with his family and be a kid outside of the hospital.
This is obviously devastating news for the family, but their family and friends will continue to pray for Kal Luke. I'm going to share the links to her blog and a go fund me, but honestly I think prayers are definitely the most appreciated at this point.
On a positive note, Kal was baptized yesterday and accepted the Lord.
