IMO if a company needs a DEI position they've already failed. I absolutely believe diversity of all kinds is beneficial for a company but that needs to come organically and not be forced.


As soon as you label it DEI, a lot of people go into rage mode and tune tf out immediately. At my old job we had a big push for it and they said all the right things and it came down to "we have clients and customers of all kinds and we like their money so we shouldn't piss anyone off" and when I boiled it down to my outraged employees that way, they were all saying..."oh ok that makes sense."

It's amazing how riled up people get when you ask them to not be a-holes to other people.
