It was just on Netflix. No extra fees besides the subscription cost for Netflix…. That's the only reason I even considered watching. I'm not PPVing a fight.

Hmm so they gambled they would make enough to pay 60M to the fighters and many millions for the arrangements? Unlikely the extra subscriptions made up for it

Not a fair comparison because buying a PPV fight is a very different proposition than logging onto (or subscribing) to Netflix, but for at least some context, the largest PPV event in history had 4.6 million buys.

I wonder how many actually watched it because netflix ****ed it up too much. I will not plan on watching a live Netflix broadcast after how much they ruined it. I had to use my TV, phone, and laptop to keep the fight on enough to watch it mostly live
This fight will be like going to a Lynyrd Skynyrd concert.
