I wouldn't put meaningful money on it, but I would lean toward taking a chance on the value on Tyson and over on the rounds. As long as it's been, I still think there is something to be said for having real boxing experience vs mostly beating MMA and other misc guys. And the 2 minute rounds should help. I have tickets, so I mostly hope it's just entertaining however it goes. I am not laying any cash on it other than what it is taking to get in the gate
That one was at least marketed as an exhibition so everyone should have known what to expect. Tyson was also at least a lot more active than Jones. Hoping this one being an actual fight, counting against their professional records, etc. may change that.
Sidenote, Jake Paul put Nate Robinson to sleep with a KO on the undercard of that fight
all good points. thoughts on tyson +185, paul -225, or O/U 5.5 rounds?
My thought is you shouldn't gamble on something that is probably rigged or scripted.
I watched the Spinx-Tyson fight on YouTube yesterday. I think Spinx was 38, but looked about 80. Tyson is so unstoppable he is practically dancing when the fight starts, he's so eager to get to that point of battering him.

IF you haven't seen the video, Tyson slapped Paul in the face tonight when Paul got in his business. Paul seemed to enjoy it. I saw a thing on CBS that said the fight might not start until around 11 PM if the rest of the fights go any sort of length.

Spinks was a month short of 32 when they fought.
1:32 into first round. that version of tyson was the best boxer ever. nobody could touch him then. fearless.

That looked like some WWE crap. This thing will be scripted and they'll both make a bunch of money. I think I'll just watch the highlights on X tomorrow.

Did Jake CRAWL up to him and then stand up?? Camera was too zoomed in to tell, but that's what it looks like.
Just finished watching the 3-episode documentary leading up to the fight. Tyson's kids seem remarkably normal and well-adjusted. Didn't expect that.
Other than the obvious (money), I can't figure out what the upside of this fight could be for Jake Paul. - Any scenario in which Tyson wins (KO, Unanimous Decision, Split Decision), the take will be 'Told you Jake wasn't for real, lost to an old man lol." - Any scenario in which Jake wins, the take will be 'Big deal, Tyson is 58.'
Somewhere around 10 would be my guess. Main undercard starts at 7pm with 3 fights - 6 rounds, 12 rounds, and 10 rounds. The 12 rounder has at least a decent chance of being a KO - Barrios is a heavy favorite and has KO'd 2/3 of the guys he's fought
Jake Paul doesnt actually want to be a boxer. He wants to be a boxing promoter. He comes out on top regardless of who wins the fight, and his MVP promotions company draws the attention of his future cash cows.

They basically weighed in the same, 227ish. For Tyson, that's about 5-6lbs lighter than he was fighting at late in his career (and 6-7 lbs heavier than 1980s Tyson). For Paul, that's about +30lbs from his highest weight.
