Not familiar with Uncle Wiggly's work, but I can't say that about Betty's clam.

I went to Uncle Wiggly's horrible secret sleepover party once. 0 stars would not recommend.

No. But I was once groped as a child at a Piggly Wiggly.

We have the uncle wiggly books in our bookshelf, and they make the rotation of bedtime stories for our kids.

When I was 19, the State of Louisiana raised the drinking age to 21. Private clubs could sell to their members at 18 though, so I became a member of the local Piggly Wiggly. They offered a free lifetime membership with any purchase.

Brer Rabbit was always a staple at naptime. Some of the best memories I have of my grandfather are of him telling me about the tar baby.

Omg my mom used to call me Skeezicks when I was little. I had no idea that was the crow's name in the Uncle Wiggly story!

"Brer Rabbit, he lay low, and Tar Baby, he ain't say nothin."

My mom had the dialect down, I cannot read them out loud.
