Good call. Samoas are my favorite GS cookie
Samoas are tiny now. Still taste pretty good though. Tagalongs/Peanut Butter Patties, Toast-yays, and Adventurefuls are my go-to's.

Thin Mints are incredibly ass. I don't know how anyone eats those.

Put em in the freezer homie
Good idea. Then they will taste bad and cold.

Mint + chocolate is just an awful flavor combo

Of all the bad opinions that have been given on this website, this may be the worst.

My girls are selling girl scout cookies if anyone is interested in purchasing. I believe you can sell them online. They will send you a friendly video message should you decide to purchase.

My favorite too. But they lost the right to use the Samoas name when they changed cookie companies. Now they're Caramel Delights. Whatever they call them, still my favorite.

On another note we did a taste comparison the other day with GV and GS thin mints. The GV has a subtle tart aftertaste, is slightly smaller and thinner. However, if you were to buy these in the off Girls Scout season i don't think you'd ever know. But if you're a stickler for the real thing I'd probably just buy the Grasshoppers. I would guess they're the same thing since a keebler subsidiary makes the thin mints.

Just shut up and do your part to pay that CEO $200k+/yr.

What a sham.
The CEO of Keebler's parent company makes $13.8 million
and good for him… he runs a for profit company for the purpose of generating as much revenue possible. The Girl Scouts make money by exploiting little girls to do their child labor without pay. If any executives for the Girl Scouts collect a check, it is far more of a problem than the CEO of a for profit company claiming a massive salary

My kids pay a dollar a meeting each and all the money they raise through sales directly goes to paying for events for the local troop. We do activities every other week and have really really enjoyed it so far and I am looking forward to the girls getting in to the outdoors stuff soon. Our region has an incredible setup though it seems and our troop leader is awesome.

This is the key, especially for younger kids. As your kids get older, the troop leaders should be doing less of the work of planning and leading activities and more behind the scenes to help facilitate the girls making the decisions.

When I was Cub Scouts pack treasurer we got to keep about 25% of the sales of the overpriced popcorn. The rest went to area council and the popcorn vendor. I thought that was a raw deal until I heard girl scout troops get to keep about 10% of cookie sales.

i think its kindof dangerous to teach young girls self esteem and leadership, honestly.

Next thing you know they will be growing up and wanting to drive cars and vote
