When I was in grad school, I ate lunch almost every Tuesday and Thursday at Costco. Hard to beat $3 for two meals, even back then.

I remember my dad's cheap ass taking us to sample Sam's Saturdays as lunch.

"What we figured out we could do is build our own hot dog-manufacturing plant (in Los Angeles) and make our own Kirkland Signature hot dogs. Now we are doing so much hot dog business that we've opened up another plant in Chicago.

"By having the discipline to say, 'You are not going to be able to raise your price. You have to figure it out,' we took it over and started manufacturing our hot dogs. We keep it at $1.50 and make enough money to get a fair return."

The pandemic killed the OG chicken bake. They were so much better when they made them fresh in house. Now the use the frozen ones and they just aren't as good.

Alright I've heard the executive membership pays for itself.

I wasn't in the mood for the hard sell the lady was offering me so I got the gold star membership.

Is it worth it? It's 20 mins away and I'll probably spend money there often

$5 chicken is the best deal going right now. Hotdogs are gross. And, I don't care what is in them. Lips and *******s don't scare me. Hotdogs are just out and out gross. But I'm glad yall like them.
