It seems like every time you hear about hazing, it involves guys sexually assaulting or harassing other guys.

It involves alot of humping.

There is a reason the dominant one in any relationship but especially a gay one is called "a top".

Most guys do not want to be humped by anyone. It is a sign of submission.

If ur hazing someone ur asserting dominance and trying to forcefully make the people getting hard to submit.

In this context hazing being sexual in nature I would be surprised if hazing amongst males DIDN'T involve acts like this.

But there were 10 of them. Not much you can do.

They then taped his hands and feet, put an apple in his mouth and suspended him between two beds like they were roasting a pig. Suit says they took a photo and sent it to another cadet. A&M should probably settle if they can. Individuals can probably hire good lawyers and avoid judgements, but they are about to learn an expensive lesson.

And they will be in big trouble if the plantiff's investigation turns up enough evidence for criminal charges or that photo surfaces. Assault, sexual assault, and destruction of evidence could all be on the table.

Corrective hazing has a place still IMO. Granted I'm a Neanderthal at heart. And I fully recognize there can be a razor thin line between what I am describing and domination hazing.

Being forced to PT until you puke because you almost kill a guy on a firing range from stupidity is different than being held down and having your rectum violated by a foreign object because your seniors are drunk and you exist. Those are completely different things in my eyes but on paper are treated the same. And everything in between. That final line that separates the two is very subjective though and I see why a policy of zero tolerance is needed to cover against the "bad" hazing.

This is one of the weirdest posts I've ever seen on TA.

I've seen dogs eat **** and do all sorts of stuff a human should never do.

Well, um, I'm not sure what all that means, but being sexually assaulted is not what most dudes have in mind when they shoot the **** and laugh about old hazing stories.

Nor is being restrained by 10 guys and getting tied up and choked out.

Perhaps you never played team sports or spent a lot of time in mostly-male youth environments. There's also a big difference between social hazing and corrective/punitive measures. My coach wasn't "hazing" me by making me run extra if I was late to practice because of detention - that was just the way the rules worked.

And I think everyone is overlooking a key element of the story....that one of the perpetrators was apparently moved by the first round of confrontation in such a way that he was physically prepared to apply the dreaded apparatus.
