Do you know anyone that's been on a game show? My friend's mom is in the application process to be on Wheel of Fortune.

My mom and dad were on the newlywed game.. Came in second or third place, won some cast iron pots and pans.

There was a guy who used to post here that was on Legends of the Hidden Temple.

Wife's cousin was on Jeopardy, when Alex Trebek was still the host. She said the actual game and your time with Alex goes by really quick. She came away with almost a $1000, in second or third place.

HS friend won a ****load on TPIR.

Chita Craft from Channel 11 in Houston has allegedly been on TPIR, Wheel, and Family Feud

And Vanna of course.

HS debate partner was on and won on Wheel of fortune

Friends with a girl who was on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, she didn't do well.

Worked with a girl who was on Wheel of Fortune college week. She repped A&M and won I think.

My wife and I played a newly wed game on a cruise chip during our honeymoon. We won and it replayed in everyone's rooms all week. A few people recognized us walking around the ship, I guess the few who actually watched TV while on a cruise. We were little celebrities.

I know a couple who were selected as a backup for The Amazing Race. They didn't make it on the show.

I've had former students on Jeopardy. One even came back to tell me to make sure and watch her.

Oh, I forgot some people I know were on The Great Christmas Light Fight last season. Should have won by a mile in my biased opinion. In a way, they did. Gained huge recognition locally and this year, after several years of free shows at their house, they're moving the light show to an entertainment venue and monetizing it.

I had a relative who was on The Price is Right decades ago. One if my highschool friends was on The Squid Game Challenge. He was eliminated during red light green light.

Is "My 600 lb life" considered to be a game show?

There used to be a better video on YouTube but that'll all I can find now. He was one of the contestants they did a whole bio about that you know is going to be either awful or amazing.

I knew one who worked hard to get on Wheel of Fortune and Press Your Luck in her serious attempt at becoming famous in Hollywood. She didn't win much cash. Dressed like a Cabbage Patch doll with oversized bow in her oversized proofed hair. It was sad to witness.

The Music Director at our Baptist church in Alvin was on Jeopardy.

My brother-in-law, sister-in-law and their family were in Family Feud a couple years ago. From what I remember, they had an application, an online interview and a practice screening before they were selected.

A HS friends mom made it to Jeapordy and finished in second. This was long ago back when prizes for second and third were bedroom furniture and things like that.

Former co-worker lived in L.A. for years.

He and his wife were on The Newlywed Game in the 70's but didn't win. He told us that they were hanging out at a tavern before the taping and the other couple that didn't win were in there getting hammered. During a Christmas party he was throwing he had the episode on in his theater room. You could tell that couple were still hammered.

He and his family were also on Family Feud and won something like four episodes in a row. During one episode on the final round where they needed 200 points to win, the first person in their family to go got 198 points. I think they guessed the number one answer on four out of the five or six questions.

I was on Family Feud along with my first wife, my sister, her husband and my 90-year-old grandfather when Richard Dawson was the host.

I've known two people who were contestants on the Bob Barker version of The Price is Right.

Also worked with a guy who was in a cancer support group with The Price is Right announcer Rod Roddy.

Worked with a hot old lady who was on The Dating Game. She had fake everything and looked great.

Got to audition for the Howie Mandel "Deal or No Deal" show as part of the 5 person support crew for a friend who was going to be the contestant. That was a trip.

My friend was an actress whose angle to get on the show was that she was a Single Mom. They used her real hometown instead of Burbank for her backstory.

I didn't make the final cut because I wasn't enthusiastic enough and she brought 3 males and that didn't jive with her single mom story. Was she banging all 3 of us? So they asked her to come back with more women in her support crew.

It happened. I don't know the details. All I know is he was compensated for the syndication broadcast.

I went to high school with a girl that was on Fear Factor and worked with a guy that made it in front of the judges on American Idol. He got 1 of the 3 votes from the judges to move on.

I know two people that have been on The Price is Right. Both goofy as hell.

There was a girl in my class in jr. high that was on Figure It Out on Nickelodeon. Her "special talent" was that she raced turkeys, which is something we actually do in out town, but she had never actually done it herself. I always thought it was bull**** that she got to be on the show for that..

Had a friend in HS who was on Price is Right. She never got to go on stage, but was on the contestant row for almost the entire show. She was also our homecoming queen.
