So I buy some Antonio's after NG is closed and go over to eat next to a friend.

A guy who is friends with the person she is talking to promptly takes a slice of pizza and starts eating.

I think he is obviously joking since he knows her so well and laughingly tell him to stop.

From the look on her face and the fact that he keeps eating I realize this isn't the case.

I pull it out of his mouth and politely ask him wtf he is doing. His reply is simply that he is hungry.

Words exchange and my friend tells him he needs to pay me for the pizza. He says he won't pay and will only apologize if ASKED.

More words exchanged and the guy flips my box over making both slices land face down on the pavement.

More words ensue and the ONLY thing holding me back from slugging him is that I know there aren't any piercing places open in town and I wouldn't be able to get anything back in before the holes closed up if I had gone to jail.

So was I right in holding back?? Or should I have just knocked his block off anyways?

He said NG had just closed. I assume the guy was blasted drunk. You have to assume bizarre/assholish behavior like this when you are around drunk strangers. 2. Put him on your enemies list and plan a stealth payback to cause him anguish and you some satisfaction. Letting air out of car tires seems high schoolish but is a solid choice in accomplishing both.

Fights rarely lead to arrests or a record.

Again, he didn't necessarily have to fight the guy, all he really had to do was something that would embarrass the guy or provoke the jackass to take a swing at him. Perhaps say "You liked my pizza, would you like some coke?" and pour it on him. Or, "Here, have a taste of the piece you didn't steal" and then spit in his face.

Getting arrested for D.O.C. will normally not go on your record or will leave in a few years.
