I had to look up Benny Mardones. Got his Wikipedia page. I must have a different understanding not what brown eye means.

"Into the Night" is pretty hard to top. That one gets spun on Yacht Rock Radio every year.

I heard my nominee at the gym today, and I hate it as much now as when it was a, ahem, hit. At least I didn't have to watch the video.

I can't stand being in a Tractor Supply or Buccees very long because of the crap to 40 "country" they are always playing. I despise the production on them that always sounds the same every song, the pro sounds drop in plug and play steel guitar riffs and 4 bar one fits all guitar solos snd the basically 4 different rhythm backings to choose from originality and the God awful pandering cheesy hooks in the lyrics and the needlessly trashy double negatives and illiteracy and the chorusing of all the refrains and the addition of ****ing terrible amounts of auto tune and pop music elements.

They destroyed an art form by commercializing the ever living F out of it.
