Broken backs. Looks like a helluva good time.

I have a great one-liner loaded up in response to that, but I can't even type it. That looks like a lot of serious injuries to non-deserving kids. I hope everyone on the ride recovers.

No one died, so that's good. Apparently the carnival organizers fled the scene.

The capacity is 25, but in India they likely packed 80 on it.

Being someone who worked at a six flags for 3 years, I don't trust carnies or rides that go up in a day.

Do you know what all we had to do to run a roller coaster from day to day?

Each ride has to be ridden a certain amount of times by a supervisor each morning before opening before it can be ridden by the public. If there's any strange sound even if it's your last ride you have to ride it again.
They are tested throughout the day as well.
And more but that's truthfully all I can talk about.

It's absolutely insane the amount of safety measures they take and you can't do that with something that
1) can be moved from one place to another
2)doesn't have consistency(the same person taking down and putting up
3) doesn't have longevity so maintenance is a variable.
4) I don't see them testing them for issues, ever.

all this to say DONT TRUST CARNIVALS OR CARNIES.

How do you flee the scene when that's all your sht? Wild!

I hate these type of rides.

There was a terrible one in Orlando earlier this year which I wish I hadn't seen. A kid fell to his death.

You think the carnies own any of that? Most of it is funded with loan shark loans, shady foreign investments and low level dirt track stock car races.

If this was in China, my Chinese friend would just shrug it off and say "eh we have 1.2 billion people. Plenty more where they came from."

And all this time I thought I was the insensitive a-hole...

As someone who's spent many weeks in India I get nervous getting on an elevator over there.

I also didn't like highway driving between cities. Never knew when a cow or person was just going to step out onto the road and play frogger.

My first reaction was Hey, now THAT was a great decision to film in portrait !!!
