Oh, that's exactly what is going on. And the dogs are just as much a part of the theater as the highly qualified agents running the X-ray machines and body scanners.

I flew out of Denver ten years ago, not long after weed was legalized. They made EVERYONE line up and march past the drug dogs. It was all purely for show. I have no idea if they still do that.
