Salad, avocados and tomatoes are almost always cheaper. I do not like their tortillas. The cheese selection is usually pretty good with interesting seasonal selections and good prices. The grass fed ground beef is a good buy when it is $4 a pound. Eggs are often cheaper. The vanilla honey greek yogurt is dessert. The coffee is good and the chocolate is great. The black box brownie mix is very good, the red box is not. The woven wheat crackers are terrible but all the rest of the crackers are good. The dried fruit and nuts are less expensive and good quality for snacks. Spices are cheap. I do not like their sugar, too often it is a block. A good place to look for Blue Bell if you are looking for a trendy flavor. Their turkey bacon is good and a great price. Winking Owl is not good wine, but the seasonal ones they get in are often a great buy. The mayonaisse is the only one I buy now. I do not buy anything from the "middle aisle" that involves heat or electricity or fire - have read about too many problems. But the kids clothes and pjs and shoes were great this summer for knock around stuff. It is fun to see the seasonal foods and goods.
It's like a cheap Trader Joe's. You are not going to do all your shopping there, but you will definitely find something.
