I went out the next day and bought the soundtrack based off this scene and the credits scene (the music in the credits is outstanding). A week later I bought the movie. To this day, it is my favorite movie and favorite soundtrack. I credit Glory with making me love movie soundtracks. Absolutely incredible score.
When the thread was bumped today, I just saw this response. Thanks for sharing that! Glory is one of my top 5 movies of all time and the music plays a huge part!

The Man from Snowy River. Jessica's Theme was one of instrumentals in my wedding. I had the movie on VHS and my fianc had never seen it. After watching it, she bought the sheet music for the upcoming wedding knowing it was one of my favorites. It was quite the surprise when the pianist started playing it when we were lighting the unity candle.
