June. Early summer so weather is hot but not insanely hot like August, days at the lake/beach, long days, everyone seems to be in a better mood.

October/November cuz of the weather. June because of F16.

October, for sure. I lived in Kentucky for a few years growing up, and the weather was perfect then. Highs averaging in the low 70s, lows in the upper 40s. Absolutely perfect. October in Houston might as well be summer.

In Conn., fav was October with the incredible colors and good temps. In Texas, April or November.

One more for November. The weather gets nice again, there are multiple holidays, and people are getting the jump on Christmas. It makes society seem less frantic and a little more relaxed to me.

November…. Cool weather, football, take a week off for thanksgiving, and it's the best chance to catch the first sweater puppies of the season.

October because Halloween parties are the best parties, or at least some of the ones my more interesting friends throw are anyway.

Also because the weather no longer sucks.

April in the Ozarks:

Morels are popping up.
Fish are spawning.
Fresh new garden.
Red Buds and Dogwoods are blooming.

Springtime in the Ozarks, and I immediately thought of this cartoon. A childhood well-spent with Looney Tunes.

October can still be hot the first week or two but at least you know the cooler weather is on the verge of arriving. I'll say November, plus Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.

The longer I live in Texas the more I wonder why I put up with the summers.
