Depends on how many people are left and how fast it happens.
If it's mostly everyone, then it'll start out as food in major cities until enough people die from starvation or fighting over food. Plenty of people will head into the country looking for food. Farmers would be smart to take them in and establish communities based around their farms because they won't have the fuel for their equipment to continue for long. They'd also lack the manpower to protect themselves against any roving bands of scavengers. There's a lot of country people who think they can survive such a thing, but without ammunition production, power generation, fuel production, etc, they're just as screwed as everyone else in the long run.
If it's quick and not a lot of people are left, there'll be plenty of food around for awhile and things like solar panels, gas, guns/ammo, etc will be more valuable. People will be looking to establish ways to scratch out a living in what's left and protect themselves, so anything that makes that easier.
If I'm left in something like that, I'm probably taking over a Lowes or HD. Plenty of fertilizer, soil, seeds, plants, and other things for gardening and food production. Also fairly defensible with only a few entry points that can be blocked with a lot heavy things like pallets of sand or concrete. Depending on the location, the parking lots also create an open area around the store, so anyone approaching would be easily seen. Let in a handful of people and it can become the center of a community and stronghold if necessary.
