Yes, that's the important issue. Does somebody need to come get Chester and take care of him???? No reason for the poor pup to have to suffer at a time like this and not be cared for.

LOL, I've been there. Years ago, I spent all day building a snowman with/for my kids. That thing wound up being about 6 feet tall. That snow was *heavy*.

After I came inside, I went to take a nice hot shower. While in the shower, I turned/twisted to reach for the shampoo (without adjusting my stance) and while turned, I suddenly sneezed.

Pulled something in my lower back and could barely move. My wife and kids had to load the van the next day (our vacation trip ended the next day) while I just sat upright in a chair. My wife had to drive home.

The snowman part is a fond memory, but the pain and inability to contribute and do my part was not.

Fast forward 10-15 years and I'm more fit and sexy as heck.

I have had this happen to me 4-5 times in my life. It is no joke and very painful. No one understands it unless they have had the same thing happen to them.

You should celebrate with some JIB tacos.

Tried to think of a funny response, but

Back before the war, in 2019, I was in Hong Kong and had a late evening flight home to Australia. Slipped in the shower and busted my ass so bad.

My left butt cheek was so swollen I could barely get my jeans on, much less walk to the train station at Causeway Bay. Took forever to change trains at Central.

But that healed in a week or so.

The torn rib cartilage thing the OP is talking about is the worst pain I've ever experienced.

That happened to me in November 2022 and I'm just now healed after a re-injury. I can now see why people with severe injuries would contemplate suicide. Living with that pain for 7+ months was brutal.
