Inwas delivering pizzas in NOLA when i was a teenager and at one particular delivery, a little kid, maybe 7, pointed his fingers at me like a gun and said "gimme all your money" and presumably his dad right next to him, said "na son, you ain't old enough for all that yet"

That was wild.
I used to deliver pizzas in college for a well known pizza franchise. One guy I worked with was a younger military veteran who kind of went AWOL, and had severe issues after coming back from Iraq. One day my coworker comes back and tells me a story of what had just happened to him:

He was delivering a pizza at a shady apartment complex, when a rough looking guy pulls a gun on him and tries to rob him. My coworker, fresh from Iraq with a IDGAF attitude, throws the pizza in the robbers face and then proceeds to beat the ever living crap out of the wannabe robber. I bet the robber didn't see that one coming lol.

I used to work in a prison out in California. It was activated because so many inmates and family sued the state of California for poor healthcare, so this facility was like a long term care for inmates. It had 5 yeards, alpha/bravo psych yards and charlie, delta and echo were medical yards.

Me and 2 of my colleagues were going out to the yards to conduct "patient" interviews and we entered a unit. this particular unit, the inmates can roam within the unit ( maybe about 24 inmates?) with 2 correctional officers (CO). well we get in, officer open a cell door so my colleague can conduct an interview. All of a sudden, we hear an alarm go off within the unit and on the other end of the unit, an inmate and a CO are going at it and there's blood everywhere. Apparently, it was a set up. one inmate was talking to the CO while the perp came up behind him and tried to go for his neck, but he tucked his vest, stood up and the shank cut his face (hence the blood everywhere). The crazy thing was the inmate who did this, I had to go do a consult with him two days prior (dude was in prison for gang-related murder)

So I jump ship in Hong Kong and I make my way over to Tibet, and I get on as a looper at a course over in the Himalayas.

A looper, you know, a caddy, a looper, a jock. So, I tell them I'm a pro jock, and who do you think they give me? The Dalai Lama, himself. Twelfth son of the Lama. The flowing robes, the grace, bald… striking. So, I'm on the first tee with him. I give him the driver. He hauls off and whacks one big hitter, the Lama long, into a ten-thousand foot crevasse, right at the base of this glacier. Do you know what the Lama says? Gunga galunga… gunga, gunga-lagunga.

So we finish the eighteenth and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness."

So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.

Jesus.

Now I understand His name was more accurately spoken as Yeshua.
At the church we go to, during holy week there is an evening service where they bring out Jesus's cross and set it up at the front of the church. When the priests bring out the cross and set it up, everyone in the whole church fully prostrates on the floor facing the cross. Its completely dark in the church as well. Once the cross with Jesus is set up, the church congregation goes up and venerates the cross, culminating with each person kissing Jesus's feet on this cross.

I'm in the back, bouncing in and out of the cry room trying to manage tired kids who are up past their bedtime. The cry room has a camera and a tv. The camera has an infrared mode so it can see in the dark.

I look on the tv screen and there are these balls of light buzzing around the cross and over the church members as they each go up to the cross and kiss Jesus's feet. They are basically hole punches of light on the tv screen. Not a lens flare or dust. There are about 40 of these little light balls buzzing around going up into the sky and coming back down. They're in this loose grid formation over the cross and about half of them would then go over to the person who approach the cross. They would stay very tight on top of them, and move when the person moved around the cross. Once the person got up and walked away the balls of light would either return to the cross or go up into the sky.

Was the craziest thing I'd ever seen. Another guy also saw it on the screen. I would poke my head out of the cry room- pitch black. Look back on the screen, these little light balls. Lasted about 2-3 minutes and moved between 6 or 7 people. I've watched this camera weekly now for over a year. Attending day and night services. Never had I seen anything like this before, and there was no easily confused artifacts set up in the church that would reflect IR light or some software layer on the camera. Just a straight dump of IR light from the camera to this tv.

Told the deacon and priests about it. The higher ranking I went the less surprised they were about seeing something like this. The heavenly bodies join us in worship of Jesus.

If anyone would like to attend church and you're in Houston just DM me.

I was hiking in Alaska many years ago and my buddy and I came across a solo hiker on this overlook. He asked us to take his picture near the edge, and while he was getting ready to pose he lost his footing, slipped, and fell over the side. I'll never forget the "smack" sound a few seconds later. Panicking I searched his backpack for anything to identify him. There was a note and it said, "OP is gay."

Driving the interstate I came upon an accident involving a big semi. I didn't see the other vehicle until I was right beside it, a motorcycle. The victim was covered with a tarp, except for his leg, which was about 10' away from the tarped body. I get anxious when I'm in traffic near motorcycles now.

Was driving north on the King Ranch from the Valley. Catching up to a train that was probably going 60-65 mph. Border Patrol plane was flying up one side of the train, and then would turn around and fly down the other side. Must have been about 20 illegals scrambling from one side of the grain cars to the other to try to avoid being spotted by the BP. All while that train was hauling ass. Crazy.

Neat. Mine was more like Acts 7:55-56. I don't talk much about it and have struggled with what I'm supposed to do with it and why Elohim doesn't do this more often for more people. After a life-long journey, I think it may have been to keep me around long enough to write this:

These Things You Should Have Done

May Elohim make His face to shine upon you. Shalom.

Going down Hwy 50 there was a truck in front of us that blew a tire or something at 70 mph. Immediately flipped and started rolling across a plowed field for maybe 75 yards. Stopped and ran to them to see if they needed help, and the three guys inside were miraculously fine. Shaken up, but no broken bones or blood or anything at all.

You know, I've had both of those thoughts myself. When I talk about it to other people I get a wide variety of responses. From those who doubt my story, or even family who just refuse to acknowledge by responding with silence, to those who were extremely excited to hear such a report. From what I saw to what you saw there is a wide chasm but certainly similar rebuttals can pop up. "Its all in your head". "You're making it up".

I try to not be sheepish when I tell others, and address any contempt head on, but its certainly a 'no turning back' point with everyone you talk to. You'd have to think they're thinking 'this guy's gonna start setting up cameras in haunted houses' which is totally not the case.

Reading the accounts of St. Seraphim of Sarov has just blown me away with the type of things God can reveal. Dude got visited by the Theotokos 12 times, and on the last time he called it beforehand and told a companion to just be cool, don't get scared, and don't bow down when she comes in to the room. (The guy did get scared, did bow and Mary told him to stand upright). St. Seraphim also saw Jesus enter the church he was at, make eye contact, and then walk straight into his icon. Stunned St. Seraphim for hours. He stood there in shock.

I don't know God's thought process on how He chooses to reveal Himself. My own opinion, is I think for Saints its a reward for their piety. For the rest of us, I think its a humbling carrot/stick to walk straighter and narrower and spread Jesus to everyone else (which is also what the Saints would do).

I assume that day I got bumped up a degree along the scale of, 'Whom much has been given, much is expected.'

Freshman year, making my way across campus on foot because I missed the bus and I decided I'd suffer some and walk from Kleberg to Zachary for a Friday 8am. As I'm making my way to the fish pond, I notice this girl studying at one of the bus benches. Also see a squirrel about ten paces to her right. Girl is also eating a pop tart, I notice and the squirrel notice at the same time. Girl sets the pop tart down and turns away to dig something out of her backpack. As soon as she turns away, the squirrel covers the distance in two bounds, grabs the pop tart and bounds back to where he was. He is now holding the pop tart in both front paws like he's reading an Atlas and chowing down. I am completely awestruck and start braying like a jackass because this is the funniest thing I've seen since I left the farm for school. The girl is startled by my outburst and then upset that her pop tart can't be found. The best I can do I stifle my next volley of laughter and point to the squirrel. She puts two and two together and starts laughing with me. The bus I missed at Kleberg, shows up at fish pond about now, I jump on and giggle to myself the next two blocks over to get off at the Zachary stop. I decide that the day will get no better, and stay on the bus and loop back around to my truck at Kleberg to go home for the day.

Driving northbound on Wellborn Road (between Millican and Wellborn) back in the 90s - I was following a mid 80s Isuzu Trooper and right around Schehin Road it suddenly swerved off of the road into the grass and hit a culvert/driveway going about 60mph. I'm guessing it cleared 5 or 6 feet before slamming down, still upright and tracking straight ahead. The driver didn't slow down much or recover in time and he hit another while doing 50 or so. Cleared 3-4 feet this time and, again, slammed down and somehow managed to stay upright. I was nearly at a standstill on the shoulder watching all of this unfold like a scene out of an 80s CBS primetime action comedy. The Isuzu finally came to a stop and was just sitting in the grass. I eased up parallel with it and the driver was wide eyed and looking around, probably contemplating how he's going to get the smell out of his pants and driver's seat. He didn't seem to be in any sort of medical emergency, so I just eased on down the road. About the time I cleared the hill by present day Duckhaven, I could see him easing back onto the road in my mirror. No idea how that thing didn't flip or how it was tracking straight enough to drive down the road, but it was.

Not as negative as some of y'all.

Back in 2016 I was in Morocco and taking a tour of the Sahara via a camel. It was a sea of sand dunes (erg) just like you see in the movies. We had stopped for a break and I ended up riding out a sandstorm huddled next to said camel. About 15 minutes after the sandstorm the skies opened up and it began to rain. It was the first time that area had seen rain in 5 years. The rain stopped and we watched the sunset while sipping Moroccan green mint tea. It was very cool experience and something I will never forget.

EDIT: This is right before the rainstorm hit

My driver made us stop in the middle of a field in Oman to drink fresh camel and goat milk and eat dates with a nomadic herder he knew. I was with this 30 something skinny blond chick which I am pretty sure is the reason he wanted to stop. Dont see someone like that too often over there. I was certain I was going to get violently ill but I never did. It was absolutely nuts.

When I was a kid, we were at a Ryan's Steakhouse and saw a lady put an entire HUGE piece of fried chicken fully in her mouth, then pull out nothing but a pile of completely picked-clean bones. The only way it makes sense is if she had that little internal mouth like the alien on Alien. My dad swears it didn't happen but MY MOTHER AND I KNOW WHAT WE SAW!

Also, it didn't seem like this was THAT Ryan's.

I was hunting Cape buffalo in Tanzania and we had been tracking a herd of them for a few hours and followed them into some very thick brush. Visibility was very limited and without realizing it we had gotten within a few yards of them and they realized we were there before we realized they were there. They started stampeding in all directions all around us. Trees were snapping all around us, their hooves were thunderous, it felt like the ground was shaking. All I could do was stand there and pray one didn't run me over. Luckily, got out of there ok.
