I was going to get a bunch of errands done today, but instead, I think I will sit by the pool again, nap, and just relax. Who is with me?!

• Replaced all the burners on the gas grill
• Mulching garden and some flower beds
• Hot dogs for dinner the way God intended for the first summer holiday

- sup buttholes
- busy ass morning
- load up the truck
- week at the beach
- later gaywads

Starting to look like a good ass day

- Slept on the couch so as not to leave the new foster dog.
- Gonna work on getting her photo posted, etc.
- She hasn't peed yet - 315 will be 24 hrs and that's when I'll call the vet.

OMG SHE FINALLY PEED!!!

She'd drank a ton of water. We've been doing walks every couple of hours, yeah. I just noticed her sniffing and what looked to be the beginning of circling on my rug and immediately hopped up.

She's so soft, too. And still hasn't made a peep / noise aside from panting - even when the doorbell rang (twice), when she saw a squirrel or other dogs. She trembled in front of my two male neighbors and was cautious but willingly approached one female neighbor.

Good! It will just take time! And I'm glad you are slowly socializing her. That will be a big help for you both, her getting comfortable with other people.

I hope she wasn't abused in her former home.

Not a slight at you, but I think you're reading way to much into Maroon Barchetta's comment and my response.

I don't do any social media (except for TexAgs) and therefore can't comment on other people getting pissy on social media.

Spent my Memorial Day in my truck driving my son and a couple other kids back from west Texas. Our group did Carlsbad Caverns on Saturday and climbed Guadalupe Peak Sunday. Started the Sunday hike at 0200 in order to make the summit by sunrise. Made it back to the parking lot around 1030. I think everyone was in their tents asleep by 1800.

If you're not going to participate in some sort of Memorial Day service, I think the next best way to honor the sacrifice made by those military personnel is to go out and do some real living and enjoy the freedoms for which they sacrificed.

i loved the caverns...walked down and up...Saw some people in flip flops and others in cowboy boots making the trek down into the caverns...
