Mine has taken a huge upturn this week and I've gotten between 8-15 per day. Just hit #15 for the day.

What the heck is happening? Sometimes it seems like it's seasonal. Not sure what to do about it but it's becoming quite disruptive.

I have actually been getting fewer but seems like more scam texts.

I do enjoy when it is a real caller instead of a robocall.

They get to hear nice suggestions from me.

Don't get any for months and then it'll 7-8 a day for week. If I'm driving I'll entertain myself with them to see how long I can keep them on the line wasting their time.

Definitely enjoy the fact that most of them seem to come in at 6am. I immediately head out to search.

The 'Ol Folks tell me they get 15-25 a day, but caveats...they have a land line and the same # for 40 years, and they answer every call that comes in.

Not many spam ones but a few scammers; gives me an opportunity to practice my hindi swear words

Only about once every two weeks. Get tons of spam emails though.

I usually get 2-3 per day on my cell phone. My work line has seen an increase though, I've been getting about 5 of those each day, which also ultimately come to my cell phone if they're not picked up in the office.

I've also started getting a few weird texts each week that say things like:
"Are you very busy? Can you reply when you get the message?"
Or "Hi ! Bryan, Will you go to play football tomorrow?" (My name isn't Bryan)

What's the deal with those?

Those seemingly "personal" texts are just another attempt to get you to respond and thereby conform to the sender that your number is valid.

Responding to those spam/robo texts is not a good idea.

would hardly get any until January-ish. Now I get 3-10 a day but i've blocked most of the numbers so it only shows up as a blocked call. It doesn't actually ring me.

Most of them are ADT Solar or some other bull**** solar company or scam of a solar company.

Be careful what you sign up for, or who you give your information to. Ever since I did the Ancestry dna test, I've been getting all these calls from scammers pretending to be cold case detectives.

Those random texts are strange/funny. A couple of recent ones (from different numbers):

"Let's have a picnic next weekend"

"Vida, I'd like to catch up with you tomorrow at 9am at Sightglass Coffee. Are you free?"
