When I was living on the east coast, Bojangles was the best chicken I ever had.

I used to be a chicken tender only person but then I went back to bones on a whim and realized the taste was much better. I became an adult again.

It is the best fried chicken ever by a mile. Korean fried chicken is insanely crunchy and juicy.

Dave's Hot Chicken. There have been two near Waco for a while and one opened on Texas Ave in CS last year. Insanely good chicken and fries.

I generally buy a 20pc box of fried chicken and all the sides (Churches bc no Bill Millers in MX) f for my guys once a summer after one of our longer days that we do a working lunch because as simple as it is, a lot of good will is gained over the conversations had over a box of fried chicken.

Yes the Oak Forest one on Fried Chicken Lane, I mean Ella…. I forgot about Zaxbys. I love Zaxbys, it is a treat when I make it out to the suburbs ones or the one in CS.

Yeah, surprised this is the first mention of Church's. It's one of my favorites. For traditional bone in chicken I can usually do a toss up between KFC original, Popeye's spicy and Church's.

Original Frenchy's on Scott Street near Cougar High Stadium. Open till 3 a.m. and try the red beans and rice and the peach cobbler. Best chicken out there.

I like Bush's or Golden Chick. I rarely go, but chicken strips plus fried Okra.

Last time I went to Golden Chick I received this note in the box instead of the fries that were ordered.

As a recent grad, I worked at the fastest growing (and soon to be largest) computer manufacturer in the world, Compaq (now HP) in Houston beginning late '80's. Early '90's ushered in food courts in these large campus corp's. An early adopter to this concept, Popeye's set-up shop amongst Subway and a couple others. They would close around 7pm each evening. Working second shift, I would find myself passing by about that time each night. I love me some Popeye's. And its not because I ate for free almost every workday until promotion required the dreaded 8-5 hours
