TV in the 1980s was @#$@# awesome so much better than today

How the hell you left The Dukes of Hazzard off of this list is beyond me. Any Gen Xer worth their salt would have that at the top of the list.
Also:
Starsky and Hutch
Buck Rogers in the 25th Century

Ah yes, Colonel Wilma Deering. There is nothing sexier than a woman you have to salute in the morning.

Impressive recall. I was a fan of Ponch's '70 Trans Am. For some reason I remember the episode where he acquired it. They got a call about a disturbance. They show up to find a guy who had poured lighter fluid on his car and was threatening to set it on fire. Ponch pulled all of the money out of his pocket and bought it rather than let the guy burn it. Dang Mexican cops have all the good luck.

Four outstanding reasons why "The Fall Guy" was one of the best TV shows of the 1980's!

This thread begs the question, who had the cooler truck, Colt Seavers or Rick Simon?

The answer is Jed Eckhert.

Honorable reply, but Rick Simon killed his commies in Vietnam

Jed's war came to him. And he and bunch of kids led the resistance that helped kick the commies off of American soil. "Because we live here!!!"
But those kids were so poorly educated they didn't even know what the capital of Texas was.

Holy crap! I was giving the other poster hell for leaving DOH off his list and somehow completely forgot to mention CHiPs as well. As a kid in the 70's and early 80's, CHiPs and DOH were absolute staples!!!

When I was visiting family in Yoakum, there were a couple more shows added to the list. I couldn't wait to get through the Lawrence Welk show to get to this one.
