I am having my ring dunk next weekend and don't want to have it at my apartment, anyone know of a place around cstat that allows them?

Isn't it tradition to do your ring dunk at the Chicken? Or is that just old school?

Pretty sure you'd get kicked out for that at the Chicken. I went to a couple at public parks, most are at tailgates or peoples backyards.

Damn, no more ring dunks, no more vinyl skipping in the middle of a song, and no one shooting a gun upstairs, old school Chicken is dead.

What if you get a pitcher and then pour it all into separate cups and put the ring in the last cup?

Also, is there an expiration date on ring dunking? I never did.

There is not. I did mine this year when my son did his.

Legally you cannot dunk your ring at a bar anymore. The bars in CS were warned by TABC back in 2007 or 2008 that selling a pitcher for the purposes of dunking a ring was considered "promoting mass consumption of alcohol to one individual". If you buy a pitcher and try to dunk it, they'll stop you and 86 you for the rest of the day.

Pretty sure they won't even let you do it in chuggers anymore either because they don't want to deal with the weak ass stomach types that upchuck it right into Bottle Cap Alley

It's been that way for almost 20 years now

Do it at a tailgate for baseball or at a party with friends. Spring semester is usually just a kegger at someone's house with 3-5 people dunking.

How are they going to stop you? It takes less than a minute to chug a pitcher. Or do they not even sell pitchers anymore?

If you try to dunk your ring inside, on the balcony, on the front porch, anywhere on Dixie Chicken grounds, they will move very swiftly through the crowd and rip the pitcher out of your hand. They have very very strict instructions to prohibit and prevent it from happening because TABC has every bar on Northgate on notice. They can and will suspend your license. Even if you sold the pitcher to two people, it is the responsibility of the establishment to prevent it from happening.

If you want to risk a removal by force and your ring going flying, which they don't give a rat's ass about, while a bouncer bulldozes your party attendees to rip that pitcher out of your hands and pushes you out the door; by all means, go right ahead.

Lol. Ginormous Ag was at my dunk. It was bad.

Don't drink so I did mine in 64 ounces of a milk shake from Baskin Robbins. Finished in 116 seconds. Then thought I was going to die for a while.

That sounds awful. Makes puking up my fajita dinner sound not so bad in comparison.

You would have been better off with alcohol.

Beat mine - 37 seconds on the back porch of the Chicken in '93.
