Waffle House is such an enigma. Truly some of the best breakfast food in the world served by some of the kindest people in the world, with a staff that at any point in any Waffle House restaurant has probably murdered someone in the past

I love Waffle House

We stopped at one in Jackson, MS. One of the employees in the restroom started hollering for toilet paper. The mgr lady bawled her out about it and apologized to us. Meanwhile, the employee makes it out and is telling the rest of the crew.. "who do she think she is, telling me I can't wipe my cootchie"

It was freaking great. The food was good.

BCS needs one.
Our thoughts on the current controlled EXTRATERRESTRIAL reality disclosure process and related US GOV cover-up? Once the uneasy, contagious giggling subsides, how will our civilization and the mislead sheep adapt to this publicly known reality? Are the good Shepherds withholding the truth in our best interest? Perhaps multiple species are involved?

Despite all the obvious shortcomings with water supply and basically all municipal infrastructure I thought it was a really pretty town with old southern charm. We were only there a couple days while my son was looking at a DIII school there. Did get to see things all over the spectrum in a short amount of time.

My wife will not even entertain the thought of stepping into a Waffle House again.

I ate at Waffle House on Christmas morning this past year. It was fine.

This makes absolutely no sense. Why would you go to Waffle House and get anything besides a pecan waffle, two eggs scrambled, bacon, and hash browns (smothered, covered, and capped)?

I went to college at a small school in a small Arkansas town. Waffle House and the Fina truck stop were the only late night food options. I did the enchiladas at the truck stop once and decided I liked my life too much to try again. Waffle House was college life. Years after I left, I found out they were going to tear it down and rebuild. When they closed on the last day, before demo started, they found that no one had a key to lock it up. It had never been closed.

I've been to Waffle House only once. It was in Columbus, Georgia. It was truly some of the worst breakfast food I've ever eaten.

Ate at one in Hot Springs not long ago. Did not disappoint, in so many ways.

In the late 60s early 70s, there was a small diner near the corner of Texas and Hensel. I am almost sure it was a Waffle House. It later became CS's first Schlotsky's.

Related story; Dennys restaurants used to have a small sign on the pole just below the giant one that said 'Always Open', and they literally never closed for decades. Every single one. Fast forward and a change of leadership decided that they wanted to give their employees Christmas day off. Big culture change. One problem; literally NONE of the locations even HAD a lock on the front door! They had to spend tens of thousands of dollars to install locksets on hundreds of restaurants coast to coast.

Crazy.
