They're a less permanent and potentially more obvious version of a tramp stamp. Personally if executed properly they can be appealing. The healing and upkeep seems like a PITA though.

I think that was me. Post augmentation numbness sucked, but the piercings resolved that. The healing was a massive pain in the ass though.

And I wear pasties a lot to keep them from showing through clothes. I don't mind people knowing I have them, but there's a time and a place and the airport probably isn't it. For me, anyway.

My tattoo artist friend got mad at his girlfriend once and rather than yelling or getting mad he got off the phone, went into the bathroom and pierced his nipple. It was the most psychotic thing I've ever seen. Came back out smiling and happy. But only one done.

Do they really increase sensitivity? Figured you would be damaging some nerve endings from doing the piercing. Anyways, I knew a girl who got some back in the day. One of hers got infected, so she has one "innie" now.
