This is what social media has turned the world into.

Things that would not even be the top of local news 20 years ago are now national news stories instantly.

It makes everyone think the whole country is screwed because they can find a new story covering whatever they need to confirm their ideas in a few clicks.

And then their are plenty of politicians across the spectrum that will leverage that to get whatever they hell they want.
