I had friends that sent theirs to Pine Cove every summer. And then later the kids grew older and worked as counselors.

Send them to Boy Scout summer camp. But not in Texas because it's freaking hot.

Camp Alexander near Colorado Springs or Camp Hale in the mountains in eastern Oklahoma.

Have them take all of the shooting sports merit badges. And fishing.

Cause everything's $10,000… Thanks Biden

Camp Ozark for one of mine. And remember you can't put a price on the peace and quiet achieved by shipping off your teenage daughter for two weeks.

Pine Cove is great. Christian based, very knowledgable of allergies and medications, and the counselors are young people who are just wonderful around kids. They give them each a write-up at the end of the week about what they noticed the most in each camper and they forge a real bond that makes it all the more special when they go back the next year.

I know Pine Cove lets you break it into multiple payments, so at least it doesn't hit too hard.

Absolutely not. I went to Fish Camp 22 years ago and I've been unbelievably homosexual ever since.

Pine Cove or Sky Ranch might be a good starting point.

My kids also go to TbarM and love it. It's close by for me too, so it's easy. I would like to try more out but yes, summer camp prices prove I'm a lol poor.

I dont have kids but I was a t bar m'er and a coach there thru college. Now I help send my nieces and nephews there in summer. Great place. They also do a travelling camp that comes to cities in summer for a day camp (Midland, Houston, being some of places served).

Sent my kids to Camp Chippewa one year. The last day they did some lame play about the first Thanksgiving, and my kids were Indians. Lots of little spoiled brats got a history lesson on what an Indian raid was like in Colonial times that day…….

Camp Longhorn outside of Burnet. Dont let the name fool you, no indoctrination or actual association with tu. Lots of great kids from all over the state and international as well.

3 different camps with the same base of experiences (activities, day to day procedures)
1, 2 or 3 week terms
Lake or Horses
Very rustic (no electricity in the cabins) and traditions from when the camp was first founded (1939) but great values. (Of course everyone has different experiences...)

We love it

and 24/7 childcare and medical care, meals and entertainment = $$$

Herman Sons is a good inexpensive camp we sent ours to that they loved even though it's pretty basic *****. They would always have a big group of friends that helped

TBarM because we live in NB

Their best experience was Ozark by a mile. Then we'd drive to Little Rock and fly out on vacation and come back to pick them up a few days later. Gotta pay to play

$10,000. Damn. I remember being a kid and a week in the middle of July at Sid Richardson or Worth Ranch cost like $200.

I went to Hermann Sons Youth Camp in Comfort every year I was eligible growing up. My mom went before me, and I'll send my own kids there. It's a great place.

Lol. This would carry more weight if parents hadn't had to do their own jobs PLUS the teachers jobs amidst COVID two years ago.

I just want my kids to have an enriching experience like I had growing up.

Great for working professionals who want their boys groomed for molestation but don't have the time to do it themselves.

If you think that U14 select club baseball Most Improved Player, Fall 2022, is going to be enough to round out Easton's college admission paperwork, you're going to be disappointed.

We used to camp in the Boy Scouts at inks lake. There was a "rich" kid summer camp(camp longhorn I think?) across the lake. One night we paddled out at night and threw some stuff in the lake

I was a counselor at Longhorn for a summer. A lot of rich kids and I use the term "camp" loosely.
