The rib and I decided to join the 10% of the country not under freezing weather in beautiful, cloudless, 75 degree weather poolside in Palm Springs.

And along with my wife, the talent is FINE

I drive through Palm Springs last December and I didn't see anything worth returning for. I must not have seen the good part though bc otherwise I don't know why anyone would know that city's name. Cute open air airport though! Had never seen that before.

Why do people not like referring to your spouse as the rib? I think it's super cute.

There's a clothing optional resort out there I've heard good things about.

Wife and I go to Palm Springs every September. Love that place.

We're going there for the first time in February. It will be a nice escape from the cold and rain. Other than exploring Joshua Tree and doing a few canyon hikes, we don't have anything planned.

It's one of our favorite places. Laid back, moves at a slower pace. Elegantly chic without being stuffy. 75 on Christmas. Excellent restaurants.

Since the pandemic started, it has grown even more as people move away from the big cities. Whether you golf, hike, like nightlife, or just want to lay out by the pool, there's something here for everyone.

Disney is building a big community out here, too. I expect more families will start moving out here.

When we're TexAgs rich, we'd like to buy a place out here. But it will probably turn into the next Montana when people start realizing in droves how great a living option it is

Hit up the breakfast buffet at the Ritz. Tac/Quila is a great restaurant downtown. Find a good adults only pool to lounge at. Hot tub in the early morning and early evening.

Rancho Mirage different than Palm Springs. If given the choice... I'd choose RM over PS any day.

High for today in your neck of the woods... 84. I'm thinking of droping the top... throwing on the humps... taking the wife and cruising to Monterey and Dinah Shore for a movie. It'll be ~72 here in the high desert, but my bones need a little more than that.
