Will be there all next week, without a car, staying at the convention center.

Just curious, is there a LIMIT to how much money I can spend there?

There used to be a place called Bangkok Spa on Decatur St in the French Quarter that had the oldest ugliest hoars I've ever seen. That place is always a good time.

I've been to the Harrah's a handful of times and have managed to lose money there every single time. In fact, the most money I ever lost at a casino was there.

Deanie's Seafood is a fave of mine. Harrah's is good but I haven't been there in 10 years or more. There's a chicken place called Popeyes that's legit.

If you have time, do the ghost tour or you might even take the river cruise for dinner.

Coops Place for sure. We always try to grab a meal at The Gumbo Shop as well.

Be careful at night in the French Quarter. Not all women are alike.

They have a sports book at harahs now which is actually pretty decent. They had free draft beer at the video poker bar across the floor last time I was there.

Mahoney's for a Po-boy.

It's Emeril's favorite and he might know a little about New Orleans food.

Coops looks like a doable Uber ride for dinner one night and they're open late, which will help as we'll be in meetings into the evening.

Crab cheesecake at Palace Cafe (savory, not sweet).

Don't wear open-toed shoes. I'm always amazed at how many people don't understand this.

Why do you have to sleep in the convention center?

Tell your poor company to get you a hotel room.

GW Fins - Tempura Fin Wings

Commander's Palace - Tasting Menu is AWESOME but probably not in a work budget. So get the Turtle Soup, at least.

Central Grocery - Muffaletta

Ruby Slipper - Breakfast

Cafe Beignet on Royal Street - Beignets and coffee

Acme Oyster House - Grilled oysters

Coterie - Happy Hour oysters (cheap)
