How does the bad guy win in No Way Out?

He gets caught. Both bad guys get caught actually, and a third kills himself.


Because Kevin ended up being a Russian spy. Brilliant twist.


It was a brilliant twist. But he got caught.

And David Bryce got caught for the murder of Sean Young's character. And Scott, his assistant, killed himself out of some sort of combo of gay jealousy and guilt over killing the guy in the wheelchair.

Everybody lost.


Caught but Kevin lived and quit and walked away as a Russian spy when most of the movie he was thought of as an American hero with antiSoviet views. Audiences were disturbed at the twist because Kevin wasn't thought of as playing a villain role yet in his movie career.

Which one is the evil son?

One of them was a serial killer and was himself killed. The other was a small town sheriff who, based on the evidence we have, was doing God's work and was so protected.
