Does anyone have a suggestion for lawyers in college station? I'm in a dispute over my deposit with an old landlord, and all that I have contacted aren't taking new clients right now.

I could send him a picture of himself sleeping, as a way of saying 'hey...not cool, what you did to OP.' The whole point would be to isolate him and make him feel like he's going insane. Replace his dog with a slightly different dog...change the furniture in his house so he thinks he's shrinking. Basic stuff.
If a scary sounding letter can get it done it would be beneficial. If the landlord outside the window to return the deposit he can be liable for something like 3x the amount.Duncan Idaho said:
The only way a lawyer is going to be cost effective is if you have a buddy that is a lawyer and enjoys conflict for the sake of conflict and is willing to take payment in beer.

This. We got sued when we graduated by our landlord for six months rent despite giving him a one month notice and none of us ever having signed a lease. (House that had been continually rented for years and new people just moved in from time to time)
We got served the morning of December graduation. He was an attorney so it cost him nothing to sue us, wasn't worth the cost for us to go to court. So the four of us just paid for the rent through May.
Screw you Jay. Guessing he's dead by now, so whatever.
