They feel weird as hell at first but then it's no big deal. The one at Slaughter and Mopac is a significant improvement over what was there before.Gramercy Riffs said:
There are a few of those in Austin, and they're really not that hard to figure out.

That is the stupidist thing ever I have seen. Who invented that? Was it the people who say 2+2=5? That men can have babies?
So... now... Left = right and right = left?

Ironically, I used this same line on one of my first girlfriends.
I know exactly what I'm talking about, and I am a practicing engineer. My PE seal is on hundreds of projects across the state. I believe that my duty to protect the health, SAFETY, and welfare of the public precludes me from designing any roads where you drive on the left side of the road. Since I am the department head, I can guarantee you that my company will not design one of these intersections as long as I am in charge. If you are willing to risk your PE license and livelihood on a diverging diamond interchange, go for it! I prefer to keep my license and our insurance premiums low and won't seal anything that I believe has decent chance of killing a driver for doing what every driver has been doing for a century.etmydst said:
