just to get a better gauge of how tall someone else was? A BIG guy just walked through the bar in Ruidoso, and when I stood up, the top of his shoulder was over my head. I'm a strappin' 5'6", so me and my step son had him at 6'8" or more.

I have an uncle that is 7 foot tall I was close with when I was a kid. I would get tired of the comments (95% were dumbass basketball player comments) so I can only imagine how it was for him.

He's lived in the same house forever he custom built that accommodate his height (doorways, mirror height, cabinet height). He's in his 70's now and shrunk a few a inches.

6' on good day. My dads side of the family is all like 5'8" or shorter. On my moms side my grandfather and all her brothers are 6'6" and above. I guess I landed in the middle.
