So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.

Doing collection calls to mob-owned nursing homes in the northeast. Terrible boss, ridiculous deadlines. They thought I could just magically get people to pay. Longest 9 months on a job I ever had, but it kept food on the table.

Owner and I had words. He called me a stupid MF'er, I started looking for a new place the minute I walked out of his office. I was stupid MF'er because I told him he was having me build something poorly, and I'd rather build it right instead of creating something else to constantly fix. That spring boarded me into my current position, I'm the happiest stupid MF'er you've ever met these days.

I had to go to the basement at the Rec Center (entire thing is built off the ground with the entire indoor pool off the ground a few feet….pretty cool IMO) a couple of times as a Student Worker. Does that count?

The job where they only gave me an hour to eat lunch.

Another surgeon gunning for the position I hold now deciding to use a patient as a pawn where it could have been to the severe detriment of the patient's health. Feuds exist but you never never ever use an innocent person and especially when their life and liberty are involved.

The day I was at work when I got my draft notice 4 months after graduation.

January 2018. I had been in this job more than two years without a raise or any sign of a future. I got chewed out for being off on a couple of key inventory numbers, but they gave me very minimal equipment to obtain those numbers with.

I was pissed off and most of the other people hated it there too. Got released from employment that June.

Left a decent job to get into an O&G trading training program. Was there about 3 weeks when Enron collapsed. Got laid off a few days later because we had so much money tied up with them.

Wow…that's messed up

Lifeguarding job in high school. Head lifeguard was a biotch. I told her so. The club manager counseled me on professionalism - but agreed with the biotch part.

After working a 14 hour day on a Friday mediating a pissing contest between my shipping manager and the USDA inspectors, I found out my coworker calls in with the brown bottle flu for Saturday. The one weekend she has to work this quarter and she gets drunk in Huntsville and shacks up with some Ricky Rodeo after a night of cheap margaritas at the Jolly Fox. It forced me to miss my 10th HS reunion and a wedding of a dear friend. I still haven't forgiven that beotch.

Man which one do I pick?

One time, they had cake in the break room, and everybody got a piece but me.

For me, it was the Monday after Father's day 2005. Wife took my boys out of state over Father's day weekend, because she had already arranged to have me served with divorce papers that Monday.

Nothing to do about work, but still one of the lowest days of my life.

They were going to teach me how to express the anal glands…. I know people have been in worse situations but this was coupled with a particularly low point in my life. I put in my notice that afternoon.

Tell me about it. I was on the Kyle field project. Lots of tough days on that project.

Back in EMT days. Lost a ~3 month old in the back of an ambulance. That one still bothers me. I've had other patients die, but not that young

My vet charges $25 for this. She could charge 10x that and I'd still pay her instead of doing it myself.

I worked at UCS for about a month. Was the longest year of my life.
