My synopsis. The slap doesnt sound like a slap. In acting class, actors are taught to clap their hands when smacking someone or hit their chest with their other hand when throwing a punch. In this instance it looks like will throws a slap, but motions his other hand into his shoulder/chest when he throws it making a punch sound which either chris' mic picked up or will was secretly wearing a mic that picked up the sound to make it sound real…. It wouldve looked more real had it been a punch and not a slap in my opinion. A slap doesnt make that sound. Im calling staged all the way.

It's possible, but for that to be true, Smith would have had to be a willing party to 1) allowing the joke about Jada, and 2) being the willing stooge of the producers in a publicity stunt that could have him come off looking REALLY bad.

Also the technique you're talking about doesn't apply to screen actors. I doubt Smith has much, if any, stage acting training.
