Put it on eggs when I was a kid but now it's salsa or hot sauce. Ketchup sandwiches were thing back then but bread had to be fresh. Sometimes added Fritos.

It's just weird. They are anti syrup for some reason. I've started weaning then off condiments by giving them whip cream with sliced strawberries

I don't care about how it tastes, as I'll never try it. I'm more curious as to what the hell prompted you to do it in the first place.

Not a fan of ketchup on most things. Only things I'll eat with ketchup (and have to add tobasco) are french fries, hash browns, scrambled eggs, and sauage rolls (Australian version). One of the worst applications I've seen was a kid that would eat ketchup and banana sandwiches.

It isnt that wildly different from cocktail sauce. I have no issue with fish sticks and fried shrimp with ketchup.

Do you have taste buds? Tartar sauce is vastly different from ketchup. Compare cocktail sauce, if you wish. At least it's the same color.

Broiled tomatoes under the broiler make for a better base, but ketchup will work if you're limited on time.

My daughter eats everything with ketchup. Blueberries, macaroni, cantaloupe, peas, raspberries, everything. It's not like she doesn't like these things and is trying to mask the natural flavor. If ketchup is not available she'll still eat them.

Mine used to do that. Hell, she'd stick her finger in ketchup and eat it straight.

I still like ketchup on plain scrambled eggs. Prefer hot sauce, but its still good. Add anything like cheese or ingredients then hot sauce or salsa only.

Fried then no...soy sauce. Fried runny eggs mixed with rice and soy sauce is awesome.
