Yes, it was always great. I'm not gonna gild the lily here -- it's not like I owned on VHS, DVD, or Blu-Ray, but when it was on HBO or Showtime or whatever and I happened by it, I'd watch it, even all the way back when it was fairly new.

"i used to f guys like you in prison" is somehow offered to make the villain seem tough. Its not even the best swayze movie from that decade. Red dawn is way better.

In fact; Red Dawn and Point Break are the only Swayze movies I have watched from beginning to end.

I have to admit that I had probably seen Roadhouse about 20 or so times before I heard that line. I think that was due to the channel that I was watching and the toned down version of the movie. But when it finally registered, my reaction was the same as:

Not much of a story. Bad man takes over town, new man comes to town, he and a Dr. het holt and bothered over each other, new man kicks bad mans number 1 henchman butt then kick bad man's butt, end of story.
