Hadn't seen that! Just turned it on, will wait for tomorrow to see how it affects things. It says hard mode just requires you to use any revealed letters in subsequent guesses, which is something I usually do anyway. I guess using more disparate words is a greater advantage than I realized.

I mostly follow hard mode rules anyway. Helps you pin down where the letters should be. Only advantage to not following it is on maybe rounds 2 and 3 guessing more letters.

The off brand version that you can play continuously has tons of profanity in its dictionary. Not sure if it ever picks them as the word, but it accepts them as guesses.
