Have you given up? I hear that the defining characteristic of the residents of Corpus Christi is that they've given up.

It seems to be massively stretched out as far as the city limits go.

Fishing

Everything else
More seriously, the weather is somewhat moderate due to proximity to the coast, the city isn't too big, and it's reasonably close to some of the better beaches and coastal fishing in Texas.

Make sure you put an island sticker on your car and then go to the Pelican and tell everyone that you live in Flour Bluff. Those island people get real territorial over their hood.
I grew up in CC. My Sr year of HS (1997), the school population was about 1,100 and I was one of 11 white people in my entire school. It was like 70% hispanic, 25% black, and 5% other. I was in the other. It wasn't a bad thing, however, and I wasn't treated any differently, but perhaps this is the reason for the comment.AliasMan02 said:sonnysixkiller said:

Why? I'm sure it's obvious and I'm just missing it.
No. Learn to fish the jetties and read the surf.aggie4231 said:
Used to live in Port Aransas and I choose to move to the Austin area. And I'm not some hippie liberal Democrat.
Other than fishing, really isn't much to do that you can't do in other places. You'll need a boat though.

Only pro is fishing,
CCTX sucks in every other way.
I grew up there during this time period and have no idea what that means. I was the minority in my neighborhood, but don't think that's a bad thing.sonnysixkiller said:
